YOU SAY TOMATO, I SAY BLOODY MARY!!
Denise was approached by the client with a fun saying for a kitchen towel that would be sold in a trendy New Orleans shop. She captured the New Orleans party theme and a fresh and modern way by focusing on the bright ingredients, the splash of a bloody Mary and a hand drawn type and joyous speech bubbles.
We asked Denise what her favorite part of the project was and she shared;
"I love putting my own modern span on textiles and surface design. Creating patterns from different illustrative elements and playing with color palettes to create a mood is always fun. And playing with hand drawn type is my favorite way to make a piece my own."
Denise is known for her love of mystery, magic and colorful whimsy. Her work is lively and intriguing and is a perfect fit for packaging, children's projects, books, giftware, editorial projects and advertising.
