Denise Gallagher recently collaborated with Shutterstock to create a series of illustrations for a Monthly Birthday Flower Collection. The collection was shared in a blog post Denise also helped write, which provides interesting snippets and anecdotes about each month's flower.
Denise's vibrant color palette and graphic design aesthetic resulted in a dramatic and cohesive series, while the folklore, myths and secret messages she unearthed about each flower made the brilliant designs that much more magical!
Photographer George Kamper ran a two-crew stills and motion production for Starmark's Amelia Island tourism campaign, delivering one cohesive visual language across video, print, social and digital.
Every summer campaign has that one shot everyone reaches for, someone floating peacefully in a pool with a drink in hand, soaking up the sun. Photographer Amy Mikler wanted to know what happens five seconds later, when a kid jumps in, water flies everywhere, and the float is over before anyone can call it a wrap.
Two years ago Denise said yes to the biggest project of her career. A London publisher wanted her to research and retell folktales from around the world, one for every turn of the season, write the retellings herself, and illustrate all of it.
